Sturdy Self Storage
Pictured is the owner, Shane O’Brien. Shane has been involved in storage and warehousing for the past few years but also comes from a strong retail background. As a student, he worked in Spar Express on the Callan road where he then progressed to become the store manager. Using his experience in retail, Shane has adopted a customer oriented approach to a much needed service in Kilkenny.
Born and raised in Kilkenny, Shane has a thorough understanding of the needs of the local areas and has been involved with communities by volunteering and through his local GAA club, Dicksboro.
In Sturdy’s relatively short term being open, Shane has helped approximately 100 Kilkenny locals and international movers with their storage needs between house moves, renovating, decluttering etc. In addition to this, Shane understands the necessity for local businesses to reduce costs where possible. With this in mind, a number of companies have regained valuable office and retail space by availing of a long-term storage unit here.
